I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.
Like so many other couples this year, Marissa and John had to postpone their wedding celebration to a new date. Undeterred by the circumstances, they decided to move forward with an intimate backyard ceremony on their original date this coming November. I am so excited to be capturing this special day with them! For their “re-save-the-dates,” Marissa and John met me at Verona Park for their engagement session on a beautiful summer evening.
These two have been friends for over a decade! Marissa reminisces about those early days, telling me, “We met sophomore year of high school through mutual friends. We became a part of the same large group of friends and got closer when a majority of the group went away to college, and we stayed local. We were very close friends; John always had a bit of a crush, and it eventually turned into a relationship!” How sweet!
If you’re a fan of The Office, you’ll love hearing Marissa and John’s proposal story! The beloved series played a significant role in their lives, and John’s proposal mirrored a scene from the show, adding a charming and personal touch to their engagement. John tasked Marissa’s sister with keeping her occupied all day – she had no idea what would happen later that day! She and her sister were out shopping all afternoon, and when Marissa and her sister got home, there were tons of candles set up in front of the fireplace, the same way Michael proposed to Holly in the show. “It was so sweet and unexpected,” Marissa told me.
As each wedding-related event approaches, from their engagement party to the bridal shower, Marissa and John are getting increasingly excited for the big day! They genuinely love getting to celebrate each other and have been feeling so much love from their family and friends.
As their wedding photographer, I cannot wait to celebrate with these two and their loved ones in just a few months!
