I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.
Meet the new Mr. & Mrs. Tirrell! Lea and Eric had a beautiful spring wedding at Olde Mill Inn. If you haven’t checked out their engagement session around the Morristown Green, view that post here to learn more about their love story!
The Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ, traces its origins back to 1768 when Samuel Lewis built a water-powered gristmill and barn he acquired from William Penn. In 1929, William Childs purchased the property, moved the barn, and converted it into a hotel while preserving its historic character.
This was my first time at Olde Mill Inn, and it did not disappoint! As Morristown residents, it was the perfect location for Lea and Eric’s wedding day.
As always, I began the morning photographing details. Check out the invitation suite – Lea designed it herself. Can you believe it?! Then, I took Lea and her girls up to the main landing for getting ready photos and Lea’s bridal portraits. There was such beautiful light coming in from the windows overlooking the outdoor ceremony space, and it was an easy spot to keep her out of Eric’s sight before their first look!
Lea and Eric shared a quiet moment for their first look outside the gazebo and then exchanged private vows with one another that I photographed at a distance to give them some privacy. Then, we captured portraits in the English garden and courtyard, featuring a spectacular stonewall terrace.
After their first look and family formal portraits, which we captured indoors since it was a bit chilly out, it was ceremony time! Lea’s aunt officiated the wedding ceremony, which also took place in the outdoor courtyard. The ceremony was short and sweet; after a kiss and champagne toast, it was time to celebrate!
I snuck Lea and Eric out at the end of the cocktail hour for a few photos in front of the venue before sunset. I always love capturing sunset portraits, no matter what the sky looks like that day! It gives my couples a brief moment of breathing room to cozy up with each other before diving back into the reception, dancing, and mingling. After a few quick photos, Lea and Eric made their grand entrance into the ballroom!
From start to finish, Lea and Eric’s wedding day was filled with elegance, joy, and heartfelt moments. Every detail added a personal touch to the celebration.
Lea and Eric, it has been so wonderful working with you both over the past year and planning for this extraordinary day in your love story. I look forward to staying in touch and catching up on every new Taylor Swift album release! I hope you both have an incredible time on your European honeymoon, and I wish you many blessings on your marriage!
