I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.
Morristown is a charming town with a vibrant downtown area, making it the perfect backdrop for a summer engagement session. I love visiting restaurants and shops in that area and was excited when Lea and Eric told me they wanted their engagement session there. They live nearby, so it was fun to walk to their session and have a little date night photoshoot in all their favorite spots! We started in the center of town at the Morristown Green, stopped by Vail Mansion, walked up to The Grand Cafe (where Lea and Eric went after Eric proposed!), and ended near their apartment. Despite being a bit of a gloomy summer afternoon, the rain let up, and the overcast sky provided the perfect shade cover for our session!
Lea and Eric are so sweet together. They met at Lea’s brother’s destination wedding in Punta Cana, where Eric was a guest – he had gone to high school with Lea’s sister-in-law. He and Lea talked to each other all night, started dating shortly after, and have been inseparable ever since.
On January 5, 2023, they got engaged at the Morristown Green in front of the Christmas tree. Lea recounts, “I got home from work, and there were hydrangeas on the counter (my favorite flower), and then we went to dinner at Grand Cafe. We planned to have a nice dinner after Christmas, but I had a feeling it was happening that night once Eric told me which restaurant. After dinner, we walked to the Green, and he proposed in front of the Christmas tree. After that, his two brothers and sister-in-law came to take pictures and celebrate with champagne! We went ring shopping together, so I knew it was coming, but was surprised with when and how he did it.”
Lea and Eric come from big families – she is the youngest of three, and Eric is the youngest of four, so their families continue to grow! But when they’re not spending time with family, they like to make pizza together, watch movies, try a new restaurant in town, or occasionally see a Broadway show.
When I asked Lea and Eric their favorite part about being engaged, they told me it is “getting to see and celebrate everyone we are close with! We recently had an engagement party with our families, and it was so nice to have everyone together.”
Lea and Eric, it was a joy to meet you in person and run around to all your favorite spots in town for your engagement session! I cannot wait for your wedding day at Olde Mill Inn this upcoming spring – it is going to be the best day!
