I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.
This gorgeous autumn wedding day at Lambertville Station began with quite a surprise for Brooke and Mike! Upon approaching the venue, massive crowds were walking through the streets. On an average Saturday, the Lambertville, NJ/New Hope, PA, area is already a bustling, historic downtown location. Still, on this particular day, a local beer festival was happening right outside the venue parking lot! It shows that no matter how much planning and preparation you do, it is essential to maintain a go-with-the-flow mentality on your wedding day. While this was not an ideal situation, Brooke and Mike handled the surprise event with grace. Thankfully, it didn’t impact their photos or the overall flow of their incredible wedding day! I had the pleasure of shooting this wedding with the fabulous Jill Sahner for the first time! Together, we had the most wonderful day celebrating the love between Brooke and Mike.
After starting the day photographing some detail shots, I spent the rest of the morning with Mike and his groomsmen in their suite. They were all having a blast listening to music and mixing drinks as they got ready for the big day! His buddies were cracking him up as we took his getting-ready photos, surely making faces behind me as I directed Mike through the prompts.
Once Mike was ready to go, we headed outside a bit early to enjoy the beautiful weather while we waited for Brooke to have their first look! Mike and I had a nice little chat, and he told me all about how he and Brooke met, how he proposed, and how his friend and officiant was the one who introduced them! Mike was so sweet and complimentary when speaking about his bride-to-be and was SO ready to see Brooke in her gown.
Brooke and Mike had their first look and shared private vows with the beautiful backdrop of the Delaware River. Mike was unexpectedly emotional! He and Brooke exchanged tearful glances throughout reading their vows – it was so hard to keep it together! You could hear and feel their love for one another in every sentence they spoke.
After their first look and bridal party photos, it was ceremony time! The ceremony took place in an indoor/outdoor space at the venue with a backdrop of lush greenery from the garden. The ceremony felt sweet and intimate, officiated by their friend and matchmaker, and a selection of readings by their family and friends.
After some quick sunset portraits after their ceremony, Brook and Mike entered their stunning reception space, the Riverside Ballroom. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the ballroom offered breathtaking views of the Delaware River. We were also blessed with the most epic sunset just before the dancing began!
From start to finish, Brooke and Mike’s autumn wedding day at Lambertville Station was a beautiful blend of love, laughter, and unexpected surprises. Their ability to embrace the day with joy and flexibility made every moment memorable. It was an honor to capture their love story and witness the beginning of their journey as husband and wife!
