I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.
The Madison Hotel has been at the top of my wishlist of venues to shoot at for its unique Conservatory space and rich history, so I was over the moon when Lizzie Burger reached out to second shoot Janelle and Franklin’s romantic summer wedding there! I always love shooting with Lizzie because she always has the sweetest couples, and these two were no exception!
Located in the historic town of Morristown, and known for its ties to the Revolutionary War, the Madison Hotel offers beautiful event spaces for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and everything in between. The Hotel was designed in the Georgian style with a facade featuring an entrance with a grand balcony and a central clocktower.
However, the interior amenities can transport guests back to the glamor of the Gilded Age. As a historic hotel, the guest rooms are quaint little spaces with a vintage vibe that served as the getting ready space for the boys before we headed outside to the front of the hotel for Janelle and Franklin’s first look.
Janelle’s mermaid-style beaded gown was absolutely stunning, and she paired it with a floral-embroidered veil that flowed perfectly in the wind, making for some of my favorite portraits from the day. The true star of the show was their adorable pup, Teddy! Make sure to stop your scroll and appreciate the pure cuteness of their little Yorkie.
After the first look, we entered the beautiful Conservatory space for the ceremony. The Conservatory’s bright and airy feel and opportunity for over-the-top custom florals make the Madison Hotel a popular venue in the area – especially for brides looking for bright, light, and airy wedding photography.
During the heartfelt ceremony, Janelle and Franklin exchanged their vows and were officially pronounced husband and wife! The party began shortly after with drinks, dinner, dancing, and cake cutting. The night ended with a special photo of all the Drew alumni at the wedding – where Janelle and Franklin’s love story started!
