I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in northern New Jersey and serving the east coast and destinations. I provide my couples with a boutique experience that celebrates their one-of-a-kind love story. With a blend of artistry, passion, and an eye for detail, I strive to capture the essence of your special day in a way that is authentic, heartfelt, and timeless.

Melanie and Shawn’s wedding day at Stone House at Stirling Ridge was everything a July wedding should be, with sunny skies and the most joyful energy. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the day felt celebratory from start to finish.
Melanie had access to the full venue for the day, which allowed Melanie and Shawn to get ready on site in separate buildings on the property. Meanwhile, the morning was filled with anticipation. Melanie was counting down the minutes until she could finally see Shawn for their first look.
Stone House is situated within the Watchung Mountains. On the property they have a beautiful garden area with a large fountain pool at its center. Melanie and Shawn met there for their first look, and emotions ran high. Tears were shared, and soon after, their nerves softened, as the excitement of the day gave way to a sense of calm as they took in that moment together.
Afterward, we moved into portraits with Melanie and Shawn, their bridal party, and their family. Since the mid-July heat was in full swing, everyone welcomed the chance to step inside and cool off before the ceremony.
Their ceremony took place in The Lodge, a mid-century modern yet industrial space with floor-to-ceiling windows that filled the room with beautiful natural light. Melanie looked like an absolute princess as she walked down the aisle.
During the ceremony, Melanie and Shawn exchanged heartfelt, handwritten vows in front of their family and friends. They recounted their love story (which you can read more about in their Branch Brook Park engagement session blog post) and shared promises to one another as they entered into marriage. From there, they headed into their reception celebration.
Before guests left cocktail hour, Melanie and Shawn snuck a peek at their stunning reception space. Inside, the Grand Ballroom was light, bright, and thoughtfully designed, with no detail left unfinished. The floral centerpieces especially brought everything together beautifully.
When it was time for their entrance, the room erupted. Guests were on their feet, cheering and clapping as Melanie and Shawn entered the Grand Ballroom as newlyweds. Following their first dance, parent dances, and a few lovely toasts, everyone made their way back to the dance floor.
Hank Lane provided an incredible entertainment experience, keeping the dance floor packed and the energy high all night long.
This was a thoughtfully planned celebration, beautifully executed and genuinely enjoyed. Stone House at Stirling Ridge was a beautiful setting for Melanie and Shawn’s wedding day.
